Becoming a Friend of the NL Library brings many opportunities to participate in library events or its everyday operations. You will be an active player in helping your community come together through programs such as evenings with authors, writing seminars, reading challenges, book groups, technology programs, the community market, book sales, and Christmas (and other holiday) events. Bring your ideas and talents and put them toward a worthwhile endeavor.
Volunteer work is meaningful not only to the recipient but also for one’s own well-being. If you’d like to find out more about joining the Friends and/or in what capacities volunteers are needed, please contact Friends President, Lynsday Peterson.
You are also invited to attend the monthly meeting, held every third Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Library. You can meet the officers and express your interest to them in joining/helping the Friends.
